At the start of a new year many of us make resolutions in order to change aspects of our lives or set new targets. Many of the children have been assessing their targets and considering how they can continue to improve.
At Nassington School we try to offer new opportunities to encourage new skills and knowledge. Our Year 5s and 6s are taking part in a music project with instruments new to us - African drumming! We are also in the process of organising the residential visits which again offer the experiences we cannot cover in the school environment.
The children's skills in technology are also increasing but while there are exciting aspects to this we have to be mindful of keeping children safe. E-safety is part of our curriculum and is becoming more important. Consequently we are working with our PSCOs to safeguard our children and we are running an e-safety day together. This will be followed by a session for parents and we would like to encourage as many parents as possible to attend.
Partnerships with parents are an essential part of supporting our children and we look forward to working with you this year.
