Could you be a school governor?   We are looking for volunteers to join our governing body, especially volunteers from the local communities.   School governors play an important role in helping the school provide the very best opportunities for our children and local knowledge is of huge benefit in achieving that.  Volunteers do not need to have any previous connection with the school, just a willingness to give a little time to this important community service.  If you would like to find out a bit more about what is involved, please contact the school on 01780 782743 and arrange to have a chat with the headteacher or the chair of governors.

Our 'living' bike shed is ready!

Nassington School and FONS (Friends of Nassington School) would like to thank Nassington Parish Council, Yarwell Parish Council, and Yarwell Mill Country Park for their incredibly generous donations that have enabled us to build a beautiful larch bike-shed with bespoke bike and scooter racks in the school colours. Designed and built by Yoink Engineering of Kingscliffe, it has a 'Living Garden' on the roof of sedum plants that will change colour seasonally and attract bugs and butterflies. Our students now have a very attractive home to keep their bikes and scooters safe and dry throughout the day.
